Patience is what comes to mind when we think of Owner Builder Network. We signed on with OBN several YEARS ago but due to personal family matters we were unable to start building until this past summer. (We had purchased our lot in a development in East Texas in 2009.) We started on "Step 1" of the OBN workbook with a soil test, went on to having the foundation designed and finally having the foundation dug and forms set. Rough-in plumbing was next. Then the East Texas monsoons started in Feb 2015 and it's been almost continual rain (and snow) since. Construction has stopped due to MUD and FLOOD, so , we're waiting for "drying conditions" to prevail. During all this adventure, Debbie Manning, our OBN Rep. has been our guide and "computer expert". (Nearly all our communication is by phone or computer.) She can make us smile with a happy face on her text when we communicate. Once it dries out we'll continue with construction and update this testimonial.
